WRITING THE NEXT CHAPTER
The courageous women at Next Chapter identify and address their barriers to housing. Then they create a plan to help them achieve this goal for themselves and their children as soon as possible.
Supportive classes and services at Next Chapter include:
JOB SKILLS TRAINING
Identifying goals and opportunities, employment resources, mentors, interview preparation, and job search connections
FINANCIAL LITERACY AND PLANNING
Learning basic budgeting skills, and establishing and/or repairing credit
LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Addressing outstanding criminal and/or domestic legal challenges
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
Applying tools to achieve successful mental and physical well-being
DIGGING DEEP
Partnering with service providers in our community
HOUSING STABILITY
Identifying and resolving existing barriers, understanding responsibilities and rights, and securing stable housing
LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Learning positive parenting, time management, and organizational skills
